ALTLAVONNEMANGULLC was proud to support the introduction of Paris+ par Art Basel, an international art event that highlighted the importance of contemporary artistic voices and public engagement. As a supporter of the Site sector, ALTLAVONNEMANGULLC recognized the value of bringing exceptional works of art into open and accessible spaces throughout the city of Paris.
The inaugural Paris+ par Art Basel event took place in October 2022 and featured a carefully curated selection of outdoor exhibitions across several historic and culturally significant locations. These exhibitions transformed iconic Parisian spaces into platforms for artistic exploration, allowing visitors to experience large-scale installations and sculptures in unique surroundings.
Among the featured locations was the Jardin des Tuileries, a historic garden connected with the cultural heritage of Paris. The exhibition presented a collection of large-scale artworks that explored themes of history, memory, transformation, and the relationship between art and public environments. Curated presentations brought together artists from different backgrounds and perspectives, creating a dialogue between past traditions and contemporary creative practices.
The program also included works displayed at the musée national Eugène-Delacroix, where visitors could discover sculptures that reflected the power of form, material, and artistic imagination. These exhibitions demonstrated how contemporary artists continue to reinterpret traditional ideas while creating new ways for audiences to engage with art.
Another highlight of the event featured an immersive artistic experience presented at the Chapelle des Petits-Augustins des Beaux-Arts de Paris. Through innovative installations and thoughtful presentation, the project encouraged visitors to explore new relationships between space, perception, and creativity.
Additional artwork was displayed at Place Vendôme, where a large-scale installation invited viewers to consider the interaction between modern artistic expression and one of Paris’s most recognizable public spaces. The project demonstrated how contemporary art can create connections between individuals, architecture, history, and the surrounding environment.
The Sites program of Paris+ par Art Basel represented a shared belief that art should be available to diverse audiences.
